Kayla Smart, ARNP

About Kayla Smart

Kayla Smart worked as a nurse in Kitsap County for 10 years before recently graduating from the University of Washington’s Doctor of Nurse Practitioner program. As part of her training, she rotated at PCHS and fell in love with the people, patients, and environment. Now, she is a nurse practitioner at PCHS and is excited to treat the same patients that helped her learn and grow as a provider.

Her medical interests include women’s health, addiction medicine, adolescent medicine, and global health. She has worked in refugee camps in many parts of the world that helped her learn the importance of serving those that need it most and drew her to community medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking and hiking with friends, family, and her dog.
