About John Alsteen

Dr. John Dillon Alsteen, DDS, has been passionate about becoming a dentist since childhood, inspired by his own experience with braces and the compassionate care of his orthodontist. This early experience ignited his desire to help others achieve healthy, confident smiles. Born and raised in Bremerton, Washington, Dr. Alsteen followed his dream by earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Cebu Doctors' University in the Philippines, graduating in 2017.

After returning to the U.S. in 2018, Dr. Alsteen gained valuable hands-on experience as a dental assistant and later as a dental coordinator at Peninsula Community Health Services (PCHS), while working toward becoming a licensed dentist. His journey culminated in completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with NYU Langone from 2022 to 2024.

In his practice, Dr. Alsteen places a strong emphasis on teamwork, recognizing that collaboration among staff is essential to providing the highest level of patient care. He values treating each patient holistically, addressing both their dental and overall well-being. Dr. Alsteen is committed to creating an environment where patients feel comfortable and know they can always come to him not only with dental concerns but to talk about any questions or anxieties they may have. By fostering open communication and trust, Dr. Alsteen ensures his patients receive comprehensive, compassionate care, with a team dedicated to supporting their journey to optimal oral health.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Alsteen enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, working on cars and trucks, thrifting, going to the gym, watching stand-up comedy, listening to music, and indulging in his passion for sneakers.
